ZAPORIZHIA, Aug. 20 – Quarantine has been introduced in the village of Voznesenka, Melitopol district, Zaporizhia region, after the owners of a cow infected with anthrax sold its meat in the trade network, the press service of Melitopol City Council reported.

"A single case of the death of cattle has been reported in the village of Voznesenka (Melitopol district). Laboratory studies have shown that a one-and-a-half-year-old heifer was infected with anthrax," reads the statement.
