KIEV, Aug. 16 - Ukraine’s largest petrochemical company KarpatNaftoKhim, owned by Russian oil company Lukoil, plans to suspend operation in September for a major upgrade, the company said Thursday.
During the two-month stoppage, the company plans to conduct maintenance and modernization works at all of its facilities, including upgrade of vinyl-chloride monomer (VCM) and ethylene plants.
KarpatNaftoKhim is now operating at about its normal capacity.
