KIEV, Aug. 15 - The growth of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Ukraine in the form of equity capital slowed $2.369 billion in the first half of 2012, 3.4% less than the same period in 2011, according to the State Statistics Service.
In the first half of 2012, foreign investors injected $3.224 billion into the Ukrainian economy, while withdrawing $596 million. In the first half of 2011, these indicators were $2.788 billion and $447 million, respectively, the statistics service said.
