KIEV, Aug. 13 – The Cabinet of Ministers has permitted Ukrnafta – Ukraine’s largest oil extractor – to supply 270 million cubic meters of natural gas to industry instead of households in 2012.

The amendments to the forecast balance of gas distribution for 2012 were made by cabinet resolution No. 431 of July 25, 2012.

According to the document, the volume of gas extracted by Ukrnafta and used for the needs of households is reduced by 270 million cubic meters in 2012, to 883 million cubic meters.
