KIEV, Aug. 3 – The interest rate on certificated two-year foreign currency-pegged treasury bills (T-bills) payable to bearer, which will be issued in late September or early October, could reach 8-10%, said Oleksiy Tkachenko, the director of the general department of banking supervision at the National Bank of Ukraine.
"Government T-bills will be issued in hard copy with a face value of $500 and an interest rate of around 8-10%," reads a posting on the central bank's Web site, citing the official.
