KIEV, July 30 – The Cabinet of Ministers announced plans to amend previously adopted regulations on the registration of foreign economic contracts for scrap metal exports, and impose tougher requirements on economic entities engaged in exports of scrap ferrous and nonferrous metals.
The draft government resolution foresees changes to resolution No. 155 of February 15, 2002 on approving the procedure for the registration of foreign economic contracts (agreements) for export operations with scrap metal, and resolution No. 388 dated May 3, 2012 on some issues in the implementation export operations with scrap metal.
