KIEV, July 25 – The National Bank of Ukraine says it introduced limitations on settlements in cash in Ukraine, but promises that the novelty won't create discomfort for retail outlets' clients.

"There are no limitations now, but this bill (No. 10656) does not introduce limitations either. It only foresees such a possibility," a posting on the NBU's Web site quotes Natalia Syniavska, the director of the NBU's general department for information technology and payment systems, as saying.
