KIEV, July 18 – Ukraine hopes for cooperation with Chinese investors in the construction of a hydroelectric pumped storage power plant in Kaniv, Cherkasy region.

This is mentioned in order No. 507 dated July 11, 2012, by the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry on boosting cooperation under joint Ukrainian-Chinese projects.

As reported, the ministry and Sinohydro Corporation Ltd (China) on June 8, 2011, signed a memorandum on cooperation in the construction of hydropower plants in Ukraine.
