KIEV, July 9 - The grain harvest in Ukraine this year will be 45.3 million tons, according to the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry.

"According to preliminary data from the regions on July 2 the production of grain and leguminous crops in the current year is expected to reach 45.3 million tons," the ministry said on Monday.

Earlier the ministry expected the grain harvest in 2012 to reach 45-47 million tons, against 56.7 million tons in 2011.
