KIEV, July 2 - The IMF is still waiting for Ukraine to fulfill previously agreed measures for the resumption of the stand-by lending program, said Gerry Rice, director of the IMF External Relations Department.
"Mr. Lipton confirmed that actions are necessary to ensure that the program objectives are met, including fiscal consolidation, energy reforms, and financial sector reforms," Rice said at a briefing at IMF HQ at the end of last week following the talks of Ukrainian Finance Minister Yuriy Kolobov with IMF First Deputy Managing Director David Lipton.
