KIEV, June 20 – Ukraine's monetary base in May grew by 0.1%, to UAH 237 billion, although since the start of the year it had decreased by 1.2%, according to the National Bank of Ukraine.
According to the NBU, the country's money stock over the past month decreased by 0.6%, to UAH 699.6 billion, although since the start of the year it had increased by 2.1%.
According to the NBU, the volume of cash outside the banks in May rose by 0.2%, to UAH 194.8 billion.
