KIEV, June 18 - Ukrainian oil transportation system operator Ukrtransnafta announced it is planning to buy 560,000 tons of Tengiz oil or its equivalent Azeri Light from Transit S.A. (Geneva, Switzerland).
The company accepted a corresponding proposal on June 13. A contract is to be signed by July 13.
The crude oil should be supplied to Kremenchuk by 2013.
The cost of oil is determined according to the Crude Oil Marketwire publication by Platts international agency, taking into account the coefficient of conversion from barrels to tons (7.9158) and discounts offered by the seller.
