KIEV, Sept. 27 - Ukraine and Georgia will jointly seek new markets for electricity in the Caucuses region in order to make feasible an ambitious power supply line across the Black Sea, a source in the Ukrainian government said Tuesday.
The plans of building the line from Ukraine to Georgia, which would bypass Russia, have been discussed between the two governments earlier this year. However, a recent feasibility study had showed more customers will be needed to make the project a commercial success, the source said.
