KIEV, Sept. 27 - Former President Leonid Kuchma believes President Viktor Yushchenko has managed to find "the brightest option" by promoting Yuriy Yekhanurov to the premier's post.

"Yekhanurov is a competent manager. He will not go for any swift moves. Today it is necessary to stop negative processes and rebuild the trust of domestic and foreign investors. I think he will appoint ministers not by the principle ???you were at Maydan (Independence Square),??™ but depending on their professional level. He is the one who can be given all the reigns of government. Let him work. Especially since he can score no bad word from the parliament," he told the Vlast Deneg magazine.
