KIEV, May 29 - Ukrainian banks have extended their hours and carried out certain other measures to get ready for Ukraine's holding the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, the head of the board of the Independent Association of Ukrainian Banks (IAUB), Borys Tymonkin, said at a press conference in Kiev on Tuesday.
According to Tymonkin, banks in Kiev, Kharkiv, Lviv and Donetsk, which will host Euro 2012 matches, will operate several hours longer. In addition, the banks have upgraded some of their existing ATMs and have taken steps to ensure more frequent refilling of ATMs with cash in the period of Euro 2012.
