RIVNE region, May 29 - Naftogaz Ukrayiny plans are to import 1.5 billion cubic meters (bcm) of Russian natural gas this month, Yevhen Bakulin, head of the state holding, told reporters in Rivne Region on Tuesday.

The company plans to import roughly the same amount in June, Bakulin said.

"By the end of May we'll have imported 1.5 billion [cubic meters], and by the end of June, possibly, that amount will be increased," he said.
