KIEV, May 24 – The European Parliament has stated that fair and transparent parliamentary elections are very important for the future of Ukraine.

"[The EP] underlines the critical importance of free, fair and transparent parliamentary elections in Ukraine later this year, including the right of the opposition leadership to take part," reads a resolution on Ukraine, which was adopted by the EP on May 24.
