KIEV, May 22 - Ukraine's state debt fell to 36% of GDP from 39.9% as of early 2012, National Bank of Ukraine Governor Serhiy Arbuzov said at a meeting with representatives of the European Department of the International Monetary Fund.

"An improvement of the state of the balance of payment has been seen - in March 2012 it returned to positive figures," Arbuzov said.
