KIEV, May 14 – Oil extraction in Ukraine fell by 5.2% or 41,800 tons year-on-year in January-April, to 766,600 tons, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reported.

Production of gas condensate came to 318,400 tons for the period, which was 2.6% or 8,000 tons up year-on-year.

Companies run by National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrayiny cut oil production by 5.8% or by 43,600 tons, to 713,600 tons, and gas condensate production grew by 1.6% or by 4,300 tons, to 272,700 tons.
