KIEV, Sept. 26 - President Viktor Yushchenko appointed Stanislav Stashevskiy, a moderate lawmaker, as the first deputy prime minister, replacing Anatoliy Kinakh on the post, a newspaper reported Monday citing a person familiar with development.

Kinakh was appointed as the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Ukrayinska Pravda, online newspaper, reported citing the person.
