KIEV, May 10 – Russia in 2012 has boosted its production of emission reduction units (ERUs) and has every chance of forcing Ukraine from first position in the realization of joint projects, the Environmental (Green) Investments Fund (Kiev) told Interfax-Ukraine.

"Over the past month, Russia presented near 22.25 million ERUs to the market. As a whole, Russia as of May 5, 2012, presented 58.6 million ERUs, while Ukraine since early 2012 presented only 6.3 million ERUs," the fund said.
