KIEV, May 7 - Ukraine will produce up to 60 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually, up from 20 billion cu m/year currently, as the government seeks to encourage domestic production, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said Monday.

Azarov said Ukraine has vast gas resources in its soil, but needs “time and money” to boost domestic output, reducing heavy dependence on imports of Russian gas.
