KIEV, April 25 – Sumy Frunze Engineering Science and Production Association, part of Konstantin Grigorishin’s Energy Standard group, has won a tender announced by Saint-Petersburg Scientific Research and Design Institute Atomenergoproject (Russia) to produce a batch of pumps for the Leningrad nuclear power plant two.
Under a contract, the cost of which is not disclosed, engineers from Sumy will produce six centrifugal pump units of two types: four of the ATsNA 150-90-4 type and the rest of the units of the ATsNA60-185-4 type. The equipment will be installed at a new reactor two of Leningrad NPP two. The order will be realized in 2014.
"Our enterprise well knows the specifics of Leningrad NPP two, as we've supplied products to the plant. Last year four ATsNA150-90-4 units were shipped to reactor one of the plant and in summer 2012 it is planned to deliver another batch of equipment," the press service said, citing senior sales manager at Sumy Frunze Engineering Science and Production Association, Oleksandr Chehrynets.
