KIEV, April 17 – The creation of a council of Ukrainian and Jordanian entrepreneurs could intensify economic cooperation between the two countries, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said.

"One of the most effective mechanisms for the stimulation of economic cooperation between Ukraine and Jordan could be the creation of a bilateral business council of Ukrainian and Jordanian entrepreneurs, and in future Ukraine-Jordan trade house could be set up as a platform for regular communications and exchanges of experience between our businessmen," the Ukrainian head of state said during the Ukrainian-Jordanian Business Forum in Amman, according to the presidential press service.

Yanukovych expressed hope that the range of business interests of Jordanian businessmen in Ukraine would expand due to the forum.
