KIEV, April 17 – Ukraine sees Jordan as an important partner in the Middle East, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said.

"This visit will give a new impetus to our relations, and mutual interests will only increase," the presidential press service quoted him as saying at talks between Ukrainian and Jordanian delegations in Amman on April 16.

Yanukovych also paid attention to the successful implementation of agreements reached during King Abdullah II of Jordan's visit to Ukraine last year.
