KIEV, April 13 - Parliament on Friday approved a bill allowing for the breakup of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the biggest shipper of Russian natural gas to Europe, but banning privatization of its gas pipelines and other assets.

The bill opens the door for restructuring of Naftogaz by allowing the government to split it into natural gas shipping, gas producing and gas distributing companies in line with European Union demands.
