KIEV, April 12 - British Petroleum is prepared to provide technological support to TNK-BP in the development of the Yuzovska gas field in the event the Russian-British joint venture wins the tender for it.

This is stated in a letter from BP Russia President Jeremy Huck to head of the country's interagency commission for organizing the securing and implementing of production-sharing agreements Valeriy Khoroshkovsky.

BP assured Khoroshkovsky of its readiness to provide TNK-BP with cutting-edge technology for the research and surveying of alternative gas deposits, drilling, and hydraulic fracturing of strata.
