KIEV, April 6 – Shell international company has registered Shell Oil Products Ukraine (Kiev) in Ukraine to develop a lubricant business under its own brand.

The company is to start working in April.

"Ukraine is an important country for Shell's operations. The creation of a new company oriented to the Ukrainian market will increase the effectiveness of the business model and will help expand lubricant marketing, boosting Shell's share of the Ukrainian market," said Shell Oil Products Ukraine Director Sergey Lomov.

With the start of the operations of the new company, the chain of official Shell lubricant distributors in Ukraine will be optimized and expanded. In addition, the company will start directly cooperating with large Ukrainian and international vehicle manufacturers. The company also plans to improve Shell lubricant retail sales.
