KIEV, April 3 – DTEK Power Trade LLC on April 1 stopped commercial supplies of Ukrainian electricity to Moldova, Ukraine’s Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reported.

The stoppage of electricity exports to Moldova was linked to the fact that Moldova has not prolonged a contract on imports of Ukrainian electricity that expired on March 31.

DTEK did not comment on the stoppage of exports to Moldova, as talks are still underway.
