KIEV, March 28 – The main topic of the meeting of U.S. President Barack Obama and Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych was Ukraine's contribution to world security, according to Andriy Honcharuk, advisor to the Ukrainian President and head of the Main Department on Foreign Relations at the Presidential Administration.
"I want to emphasize that after the meeting Ukrainian President and White House [officials] talked about the great contribution of Ukraine into the world policy, and it was the main topic of [the presidents'] conversation. The presidents also discussed the issues of the forthcoming elections and the current political situation [in Ukraine]," Honcharuk told Interfax-Ukraine.
