KIEV, March 27 – Ukraine and the United States are planning to put into operation in May a key facility for the disposal of solid rocket fuel from SS-24 intercontinental ballistic missiles at Pavlohrad Chemical Plant in Dnipropetrovsk region.
As of today, 40% of the facility is ready, an informed source told Interfax-Ukraine.
According to the agreement, the United States is financing and delivering equipment for the disposal of solid rocket fuel and empty engines of intercontinental ballistic missiles, the source said.
