KIEV, March 23 – State-run Lysychanskvuhillia (Luhansk region) faces a problem with coal sales, reads a posting on the Web site of the Trade Union of Coal Industry Workers.
According to the chairman of the Lysychansk territorial organization of the trade union, Volodymyr Ivanishyn, over 25,000 tons of steam coal have been accumulated at the warehouses and coal bunkers of the enterprise's mines.
"There is no chance of selling it, as the operator of the coal market – the state-run enterprise Coal of Ukraine – does not accept the coal extracted, and the attempts of Lysychanskvuhillia to find a buyer have not been a success," the organization said.
