KIEV, March 23 – President Viktor Yanukovych has upgraded the list of national projects and expanded the powers of the State Agency for Investment and Management of National Projects of Ukraine, the head of the agency, Vladyslav Kaskiv, said on Friday, while commenting on a presidential instruction given on March 22.
The agency said in a statement that additional priority areas of socio-economic and cultural development have been outlined, in particular, the Agroperspektyva (Agricultural Prospects) project.
The instruction added new components to the national projects that were earlier approved. In particular, the LNG Terminal project was upgraded into a project entitled "LNG Ukraine - the creation of infrastructure for supplies of liquefied natural gas to Ukraine," which includes components such as LNG Terminal and LNG Resource.
