KIEV, March 19 – Ukraine's Higher Specialized Court for Civil and Criminal Cases will consider on May 15 a cassation appeal lodged by the defense team of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko against the verdict on the Russian gas supply contract case, Tymoshenko's lawyer, Oleksandr Plakhotniuk, told Interfax-Ukraine.

"The court's information service told me today that the consideration of the cassation appeal is scheduled at 1000 on May 15," he said.

Plakhotniuk said that the appeal would be considered as a whole, because the holding of preliminary meetings in this court is not envisaged.
