KIEV, March 15 - Oil production in Ukraine decreased by 2% or 7,700 tons year-on-year in January-February, to 384,400 tons, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reported.
Production of gas condensate rose 3.6% or 5,600 tons, to 159,200 tons.
Enterprises that are part of national oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrayiny reduced oil output by 2.9% or 10,800 tons, to 356,800 tons, but raised gas condensate production by 1.3% or 1,700 tons, to 136,200 tons. They included public joint-stock company Ukrnafta, which reduced oil production by 3.5%, to 328,040 tons, but raised gas condensate by 11.6%, to 34,250 tons; Ukrgazvydobuvannia, which increased oil output by 5%, to 27,300 tons, but reduced gas condensate production by 1.7%, to 89,680 tons; and state joint-stock company Chornomornaftogaz, which reduced oil production by 1.3%, to 1,480 tons and condensate output – by 3%, to 12,130 tons.
