KIEV, March 16 - Ukraine’s only producer of uranium ore, Skhidniy HOK, increased production 4.71% on the year to 890 metric tons of uranium concentrate, the company reported on Friday.

Skhidniy reported its revenue at 6.25 billion hryvnias ($781 million) in 2011, without providing 2010 figures for comparison.

Oleksandr Sorokin, the general manager of Skhidniy HOK, said recently the company will increase output of uranium concentrate to 980 metric tons in 2012.
