KIEV, March 13 – Ukraine is preparing to deliver to China the first batch of AI-222-25F engines for the new Chinese L-15 trainer airplane.

A source well-informed on the details of Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation under the L-15 program told Interfax-Ukraine that it is expected that in late March or early April Chinese specialists will arrive to Ukraine to certify the first batch of the engines assembled in Ukraine. The source did not disclose the volume of the consignment.

"At present, we're continuing talks with our Chinese colleagues on further supplies of AI-222-25F engines to China and cooperation in their production," he said.
