KIEV, Sept. 19 - AvtoKrAZ, Ukraine's only truck producer, boosted production of vehicles by 85.4% (1,064 trucks) in January through August against the same period last year, to 2,310 trucks, the company said.

The holding produced trucks worth a total of UAH 725 million over the eight months, up 79% over the same period in 2004. In 2005 the holding is planning to produce trucks worth UAH1.5 billion.
