KIEV, Feb. 23 - Parliament Speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn has called on international experts to assess the quality of Ukrainian cheese products.

"In my opinion, if the Ukrainian side, Ukrainian producers are 100% confident that this cheese meets all international and European standards, they should ask international experts to examine these products and give their assessment," Lytvyn told Ukraine's First National Television Channel on Wednesday evening, commenting on the Moscow-Kiev dispute over the quality of Ukrainian cheese imports.

"As far as cheese is concerned, my position is simple - one should stop complaining and say exactly how much palm oil our producers add to these products and disclose the extent to which they are harmful to Ukrainian citizens," the speaker said.
