KIEV, Feb. 20 - President Viktor Yanukovych has dismissed Hryhoriy Pedchenko from the post of Chief of General Staff, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and appointed Volodymyr Zamana to the post.

On February 17 Colonel General Pedchenko decided to step down as Chief of General Staff, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, of which he notified President Yanukovych.
