KIEV, Feb. 14 - Karpatnaftokhim (Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region), which is controlled by Russian oil company Lukoil, has launched facilities for suspension polyvinylchloride (PVC-S) profile production with a capacity of 20,000 tons per year, according to the company's Web site.
The total cost of the project is estimated at $35 million. The PVC-S production workshop is equipped with six technological extrusion lines.
"It will be possible in the future to introduce some other technological lines, which will at least double PVC-S production to 40,000 tons per year," reads the company's statement.
