KIEV, Feb. 14 – The new European Vega launch vehicle, which is equipped a rocket motor developed by Pivdenne Design Bureau and produced by production amalgamation Pivdenmash (both based in Dnipropetrovsk), has completed its first launch and successfully put satellites into orbit.

The rocket motor successfully performed its task, the launch vehicle has fully complied with its flight program, and put LARES, ALMASat-1 (Italy), and CubeSat (U.S.) satellites into their proper orbits, Pivdenne Design Bureau reported on Tuesday.
