KIEV, Feb. 6 – The adoption of the draft law on domestic trade (No. 9443) in its existing wording will affect the functioning of the market and could jeopardize fair competition, according to the European Business Association.

"The EBA on behalf of Ukrainian and international retail companies is extremely concerned about the draft law on the domestic trade. According to the association, it contains a number of controversial provisions that impede the effective functioning of the market in Ukraine and cannot facilitate a further efficient improvement of the sector's potential in general," reads an EBA press release.
