KIEV, Feb. 3 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny subsidiary Ukrgazvydobuvannia and Svenska Capital Oil AB, through its subsidiary Misen AB, (both based in Sweden) are intending to jointly implement gas production projects in Ukraine, the subsidiary said on Friday.

According to the subsidiary, the agreement foresees measures aimed at increasing gas production at the existing fields of Ukrgazvydobuvannia in Poltava and Lviv regions. It is planned, in particular, to repair and restore non-performing and low-yield wells, develop separate deposits and introduce new technologies: the injection of nitrogen into strata, reservoir fracturing and viscous oil extraction.
