KIEV, Feb. 2 – Group DF of Ukrainian businessman Dmytro Firtash hopes to realize joint steps with the state to promote a project to consolidate and vertically integrate the titanium sector in 2012.

"We're selecting realistic options for the consolidation of titanium businesses. Of course, this is being done jointly with the Ukrainian government, as some of the assets belong to the state and are of strategic importance," said Robert Shetler-Jones, the chief executive officer of Group DF.
