KIEV, Jan. 30 - A group of MPs has proposed the creation of a special regime of taxation for IT companies to ensure there are the proper economic conditions for their development.

Relevant draft law No. 9744 on amending the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding a special taxation regime for IT companies, dated January 23, has been posted on the Parliament Web site.

"The purpose of the law is to create basic economic conditions for the development of the IT industry in Ukraine through amendments to the Tax Code," reads the explanatory note to the document.
