KIEV, Jan. 24 – Gas stockpiles at the underground gas storage facilities of Ukrtransgaz currently stand at 14.8 billion cubic meters (bcm), which allows the orders of Ukrainian consumers to be met in full, the Ukrtransgaz, a subsidiary of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, said on Tuesday.
According to it, since the start of the 2011/2012 heating season, some 6.3 billion cubic meters of gas has been ordered from underground storage facilities. According to the gas balance, gas orders from storage facilities in the first quarter of 2012 will amount to 7.9 billion cubic meters.
