KIEV, Jan. 18 – Repairs of a breakdown at the Bortnychi aeration plant in Kiev, where a part of the left-bank sewer collapsed, will take about two months and cost UAH 4 million, Kyivvodokanal Chairman Valeriy Chenchevy said.

During a press conference at the accident site on January 17, he stressed that "the accident will not result in an environmental or technological disaster in Kiev,” he said, adding the breakdown has been localized.
