KIEV, Jan. 17 – Devaluation expectations of Ukrainian business circles grew in the fourth quarter of 2011, according to a poll by the National Bank of Ukraine.
"Devaluation expectations of respondents regarding the hryvnia exchange rate to the U.S. dollar and euro strengthened in the past 12 months: 68.3% of respondents (54.6% in Q3, 2011) forecast a hryvnia devaluation to the dollar, and 66.3% (60.1% in the previous quarter) a hryvnia devaluation to the euro," reads the document.
