KIEV, Jan. 10 – The Metinvest Group's iron ore mining and enrichment enterprises produced, according to operational results, 34.674 million tons of iron ore concentrate and 12.52 million tons of pellets last year.

Northern iron ore enrichment works, based in Kryvy Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, increased production of commercial pellets by 4.2% to 10.316 million tons and iron ore concentrate by 1.3% to 14.404 million tons, a spokesperson for the Northern works told Interfax-Ukraine. Northern works in December 2011 alone produced 1.01 million tons of pellets and 1.21 million tons of concentrate.
